Abstract

The system to evaporate water by electrical heating, e.g. in domestic appliances and electric tools, has a water pump (3) in parallel with a control contact (1), which switches the power supply (12) to the heating element (4) of the evaporator (2) on and off according to temperature. The opening of the control contact maintains the power supply and water is drawn through a suction tube (5) and a connecting tube (6) into an inflow (7), where water is sprayed on to the hot heating surface of the evaporator. Steam, free of droplets, is available at a high pressure at the steam outflow connection (8).
