Description

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania ultramaryny eliminującej emisję zanieczyszczeń i zmniejszający pracochłonność.The subject of the invention is a method of producing ultramarine which eliminates the emission of pollutants and reduces labor consumption.

Wewnątrz tygla ceramicznego wytwarzane siarczki i wielosiarczki reagują z glinokrzemianami i krzemianami. There are known methods of producing ultramarine consisting in preparing the raw material charge from a mixture of kaolin, sulfur, water and a reducing agent, e.g. pitch, and then roasting it in ceramic crucibles. At lower temperatures, down to about 473K, the crucibles form solid and gaseous products in the form of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide, which diffuse through the pores and leaks of the crucible to the outside, where the hydrogen sulphide burns to sulfur dioxide. On further heating, sulfur dioxide and further amounts of carbon dioxide are formed after the temperature reaches 773K. At the same time, the diffusion of the oxide from the atmosphere of the furnace into the crucible takes place, and above all the outflow of sulfur vapors through the pores of the crucible, resulting in the formation of significant amounts of sulfur dioxide. Inside the ceramic crucible, the produced sulfides and polysulfides react with the aluminosilicates and silicates. The speed of this reaction depends on the temperature and the grinding of the solid reactants. At the temperature of 973K-1023K, this reaction is fast, and its substrate is a green product. As time passes, when the free sulfur diffuses completely from the crucible to the outside and burns to the inside of the crucible, oxygen begins to penetrate from the environment, and sulfur-oxygen compounds are formed in the greenish product, which give the product a blue color. If the oxidation goes too far, which is favored by too high a temperature and a long period of exposure to oxygen, the result is a white product with no useful value, mainly aluminosilicates.

Dotychczas prowadzony proces prowadzi do powstania ultramaryny powodując emisję 900 kg dwutlenku siarki i odpadu stałego w postaci 350 kg siarczanu sodu na 1 tonę wytworzonej ultramaryny. The process carried out so far leads to the formation of ultramarine, causing the emission of 900 kg of sulfur dioxide and solid waste in the form of 350 kg of sodium sulphate per 1 ton of produced ultramarine.

Known methods of producing ultramarine are very labor-intensive due to the crucible roasting, which is associated with filling the crucibles, setting them in furnaces, removing and emptying. Some works cannot be mechanized.

Celem wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania ultramaryny charakteryzujący się brakiem emisji dwutlenku siarki, zmniejszeniem pracochłonności i dający niezawodnie produkt o dobrych własnościach barwnych. The object of the invention is a method of producing ultramarine which is free from sulfur dioxide emissions, reduces labor consumption and gives a reliable product with good color properties.

Nieoczekiwanie stwierdzono, że ultramaryna otrzymana sposobem według wynalazku polegającym na brykietowaniu zmielonych wymieszanych składników, wypale brykietów w szczelnych urządzeniach np. piecu szybowym lub poziomym piecu tunelowym bez dostępu powietrza, utlenianiu półproduktu - zielonej ultramaryny gazem o małej kontrolowanej zawartości tlenu i redukcji odpadowego dwutlenku siarki do siarki elementarnej zawracanej do procesu posiada wymagane cechy. It was surprisingly found that ultramarine obtained by the method according to the invention consisting in briquetting of ground mixed components, burning briquettes in sealed devices, e.g. shaft furnace or horizontal tunnel kiln without air access, oxidation of the intermediate product - green ultramarine with gas with low controlled oxygen content and reduction of waste sulfur dioxide to elemental sulfur returned to the process has the required characteristics.

Wsad przygotowany w znany sposób podawany jest do maszyny brykietującej. Objętość brykietów powinna wynosić 0,3-2,0 dcm3, a gęstość 1,5-1,8 kg/dcm3. Najkorzystniejsza temperatura brykietowania leży w zakresie 423-473K. Piece do wypału ultramaryny powinny mieć taką objętość, aby na 1 tonę produktu wypadało 2m3. Ogrzewanie pieca musi być przeponowe, aThe batch prepared in a known way is fed to the briquetting machine. The volume of briquettes should be 0.3-2.0 dcm 3 , and the density 1.5-1.8 kg / dcm 3 . The most advantageous briquetting temperature is in the range of 423-473K. Furnaces for burning ultramarine should have a volume to 1 ton of product embarrassing 2m 3. The furnace heating must be diaphragmatic, a

Gazy z utleniacza prowadzone są do reduktora wypełnionego koksem i ogrzanego do temperatury 1273K, w którym następuje redukcja dwutlenku siarki do siarki. Wsad w piecu pozostaje w temperaturze 973-1073K w ciągu 10-20 godzin. Po schłodzeniu wysypuje się brykiety ultramaryny do koszy, w których wymywa się siarczan sodu w przeciwprądzie, a ultramarynę suszy i miele.156 378 tightness such that it is possible to obtain an overpressure of 100-200 mm H2O. The rate of heating the furnace after loading and sealing should not be more than 373K per hour. The released gases, containing carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and sulfur vapors, are led through a condenser at a temperature of 423K, in which sulfur condenses and flows into the collecting vessel, and the gases pass through the oxidizer, where the combustion of hydrogen sulfide and other sulfur vapors to sulfur dioxide takes place. Gases from the oxidant are led to a reducer filled with coke and heated to the temperature of 1273K, where sulfur dioxide is reduced to sulfur. The charge in the furnace remains at the temperature of 973-1073K for 10-20 hours. After lowering the temperature to 613-773K, gas containing 1-10% oxygen is pumped. The gases leaving the furnace, containing sulfur dioxide and nitrogen, are directed to the reducer as before. After 2-3 hours, green ultramarine oxidizes to blue. After cooling, ultramarine briquettes are poured into baskets in which sodium sulphate is washed in countercurrent, and ultramarine is dried and ground.

Brykiety załadowano do pieca szybowego. Brykiety ultramaryny wysypano z pieca do koszy i przemyto w przeciwprądzie w baterii komór myjących. Następnie zmielono na mokro w młynach kulowych, odfiltrowano, wysuszono i zmielono w młynie palcowym. Otrzymana w ten sposób ultramaryna odznacza się wysoką zdolnością barwienia i standardowością odcienia barwy. Równocześnie siarkę odzyskaną w ilości 20% zawrócono do sporządzania wsadu. An example. The charge consisting of: kaolin 28 parts by weight, sulfur 32 parts by weight, soda ash 31 parts by weight, quartz sand 5.5 parts by weight, reducer (pitch 3.5 parts by weight), ground in a ball mill, is transported to the briquetting machine, where it is obtained briquettes with a volume of 0.5 dcm 3 at a temperature of 423K. The briquettes were loaded into a shaft furnace. After sealing, the furnace was heated to 973K at a rate of 50 ° C / hour. The gases produced in the furnace, after mixing with air, were led to the oxidation chamber and then to the reactor filled with coke, where, at a temperature of about 1273K, sulfur dioxide was reduced to elemental sulfur, which condensed in the cooler. After 12-20 hours at 973K the furnace was cooled to the temperature of 673K and a gas containing 4% oxygen was passed through. The sulfur dioxide formed in the furnace was directed to the coke reducer as above. After 3 hours, the furnace was turned off and cooled down. The ultramarine briquettes were poured from the oven into baskets and washed countercurrently in a battery of washing chambers. It was then wet ball milled, filtered, dried, and finger milled. The ultramarine obtained in this way is characterized by high dyeability and standard shade of color. At the same time, 20% of the sulfur recovered was recycled to the batch.
