They have varied constructions and typically have shapes similar to those of old wooden skirting boards, with the upper outer surface distinctly rounded. The originality of the industrial design is evident in its shape and line layout. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the drawing, which shows a section of the skirting board with the outer surface and a cross-section visible. The skirting board consists of two detachably connected longitudinal elements, where the lower profile is permanently mounted to the wall near the floor, and the upper profile is attached to the lower profile. Both profiles have external profile surfaces. The lower external profile surface of the lower profile is provided with a flexible strip on its lower edge, while the top has a step that matches the upper external profile surface of the upper profile so that the upper profile surface is continuous with the lower profile surface, and together they form a uniform profile based on a convex, gentle arc that meets the floor surface at a near-perpendicular angle at the bottom and meets the wall at an acute angle at the top. The upper profile surface is provided with a flexible strip on its upper edge. 2 Essential features of the industrial design The upper profile surface of the upper profile is a continuity of the lower profile surface and together they form a uniform profile based on a convex, gentle arc, which at the bottom reaches the floor surface at an angle close to right, while at the top reaches the wall at an acute angle, as shown in the attached drawing.
