Przedmiotem wynalazku jest organ urabiający ścianowego kombajnu węglowego według patentu nr 158685.The subject of the invention is the mining head of a longwall shearer according to patent no. 158685.

Z patentu 158685 znany jest organ urabiający ścianowego kombajnu węglowego dla węgli łatwourabialnych i trudnourabialnych. Wspomniany organ zawiera kadłub, na którego pobocznicy nawinięte są ślimakowe płaty oraz czołową tarczą. Ślimakowe płaty zaopatrzone są w uchwyty w których zamocowane są skrawające noże. Organ ma uchwyty ze skrawającymi nożami rozmieszczone wzdłuż co najmniej jednej śrubowej linii a w każdej linii skrawania znajduje się jeden skrawający nóż. Noże rozstawione są o określoną podziałkę w kierunku ociosu. Czołowa tarcza organu zaopatrzona jest w uchwyty, w których zamocowane są skrawające noże. Organ dla węgli trudnourabialnych ma uchwyty ze skrawającymi nożami rozmieszczone wzdłuż trzech śrubowych linii. Dwie śrubowe linie od strony czołowej tarczy podzielone są na dwie równe części. Jedna część jest przesunięta względem drugiej części w ten sposób, że odpowiadające sobie noże obu części leżą w tej samej linii skrawania, to znaczy noże drugiej części wnikają w caliznę węglową w tej samej kolejności i w tej samej linii skrawania co noże części pierwszej, zgodnie z kierunkiem obrotów organu.
