Abstract

The invention relates to a fixing device, for fixing adaptable armouring elements on objects to be protected against the effects of weapons, in particular armoured fighting vehicles. Fixing elements (1-2) are mounted on a wall (P1), attached to the object, joined to the wall by a weld connection and are provided with a thread (2.1), accessible from the outside and onto which a retaining element with a counter-thread may be screwed, for fixing at least one armouring element. Each fixing element comprises a base (1) with a circular surface and predetermined diameter, which can be placed against the wall (P1), and the weld connection solely consists of a circular weld seam (S1), extending, in the corner area, between the base (1) and the wall (P1) along the periphery of the base (1). Said base (1) may be provided in the form of a circular base plate with a predetermined thickness and a fixing piece (2), provided with a thread (2.1), can be mounted on said plate perpendicularly thereto.
