Abstract

A front-loading clothes drying machine comprises a drum to hold the clothes to be dried, a delivery conduit (2) that conveys the drying air into said drum, and an outflow conduit that removes the drying air from the interior of said drum. There are provided containment and enclosing means, preferably in the shape of a sealed cylinder, that are adapted to enclose therewithin said rotating drum, a portion of said air delivery conduit, which penetrates said means to debouch into said drum, and a portion of said air outflow conduit, which penetrates said means to debouch into said drum. It is in particular preferred that said containment and enclosing means be so arranged as to share a first outer portion thereof with a portion of the air delivery conduit, and a second outer portion thereof with a portion of the air outflow conduit. No gasket or sealing means is provided either between the inflow opening letting air into said drum and said air delivery conduit or between the outflow opening letting air out of said drum and said air outflow conduit.
