Abstract

A first set of pressure bolts is guided through slots located at the brake disk, the wheel hub and the flanges at the housing of the wheel bearing in order to support the pressure disk. The bolts can be screwed into the threaded bores provided at the main axle. The pressure disk is axially held by the pressure bolts during the separation process. The connecting bolt of the drive shaft is separated from the flange by the forces of a central bolt. A pulling unit assembled of a hydraulic cylinder (1) with stepped threaded segments (7, 10, 11) and a collar (8) at the front, a pulling disk (2), and five pulling bars (3) are used in combination with the pressure unit.
