Abstract

The baseplate has a semi-rigid material plate comprising side flaps and a central panel (13) inserted between cross-pieces (6) that cover a lower surface of a pallet. Each side flap comprises holding tabs embedded in cuts arranged in opposite vertical sides (51, 52) of a packing carton (1), where the baseplate is made of same material as that of the packing carton and is pre marked with folds. Adjacent panels between the flaps and the central panel cover the upper surface of the plate. An independent claim is also included for method for holding a packing carton on a pallet using a stowage base.
