Abstract

Packaging for heating in a microwave oven, oven or in a water bath comprises an outer layer having an energy-absorbing layer in the region defined by the recess of an inner layer and/or in the region surrounding the recess. An independent claim is also included for a film material used for producing the packaging. Preferred Features: Recesses extend from edge to edge of the packaging, preferably only in defined regions of the packaging. A protective seal is provided around the recesses. Intermediate layers, preferably barrier layers, absorber layers or browning layers, are arranged between the inner and outer layers.
