An overvoltage protection device comprises encapsulated spark gaps fixed standing on an internal connection surface (2) having N-connection. Internal connections (4,5,6) are to the top of the spark gaps and the L connections (L1-4) of the first row are connected. A further spark gap (NPES) on the surface connects to a second row.
