Abstract

The shelf system, with at least one support element (20) movable in a wall rail (30), has a pair of protrusions (22) which in the horizontal position of the support element are retained in C-shaped end sections (32) of the wall rail under elastic tension. A distance from the front end of the protrusion to the rear end of the support element in the tension-free state is greater than the distance from the base surface (30a) of the wall rail, upon which the support element is supported in the horizontal position, and the front inner face (33) of the C-shaped end section.
