Znane dotychczas palety - kontenery zbudowane są z podstawy wykonanej z desek lub z blach stalowych, obramowania dolnego utworzonego z kształtowników i ścian bocznych, które najczęściej stanowią elementy stałe lub boki otwierane, osadzone obrotowo na jednym z wsporników ściany. Do dolnych części ramy przymocowane są w narożnikach nogi osadcze.
