Abstract

The device has a box-like carrying container with a floor, longitudinal walls and end walls, a central wall parallel to the longitudinal walls with a carrying handle at the top, transverse bridges between the central and longitudinal walls to form bottle compartments and separate covering walls (1,1') for covering openings between the central, end and longitudinal walls with through openings (2,2') for the upper regions of bottles and devices for joining them to the carrying container. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a covering wall for a bottle carrier (B) and a method of packing bottles in an inventive carrier.
