Abstract
The invention relates to a ventilating device (1) for a building in which said ventilating device (1) forms a duct (2) that at least indirectly connects the interior of the building to the outer surface thereof. A volumetric flow restrictor (3) which is provided with at least one closing element (5), a regulating element (4), and a restoring element is provided in the duct (2). In order to create a ventilating device (1) that is designed as simply as possible while being provided with a consistent regulating behavior, the regulating element (4) encompasses breakthroughs (10), a stationary wall (6) is assigned to the breakthroughs (10) or the regulating element (4) in the direction of flow (12), and the direction of flow (12) coincides with the direction in which the regulating element (5) and the closing element (5) are moved in the area of the breakthroughs (10).
