Abstract

A heavy duty modular shelving has sheet metal horizontal sections (10) secured to uprights via stamped tags engaging slots in the uprights. The ends of the horizontal sections have folded over flaps to form a double thickness into which double layer tags (38) are stamped to engage wider slots in the uprights. The double layer tags can be reinforced by pressed profiles and/or by spot welding.
