Abstract

The pump (1) has a housing and a pump device (5) arranged within the housing. A suction connection (8) and a pressure output (10) stay in fluid connection with each other. The suction connection opens out in two suction channels (14, 16) that are separated from each other, where the channel (14) sucks fluid through a housing wall and the channel (16) sucks the fluid existing outside the housing. The channels are arranged opposite to the housing and a flow distribution device (18) is provided to divide a suction volume of the suction connection on the suction channels.
