Środek do eliminacji wapnia, magnezu i cynku z ciekłego aluminium lub jego stopów, zawierający wagowo: 3 - 10% fluorku glinowego, 8 - 15% azotanu potasowego i 2 - 15% chlorku amonowego oraz związki sodu, znamienny tym, że zawiera wagowo: 7 - 15% chlorku sodowego, 15 - 30% węglanu sodowego, 10 - 30% siarczanu sodowego oraz 5 - 30% azotanu sodowego.An agent for eliminating calcium, magnesium and zinc from liquid aluminum or its alloys, containing by weight: 3 - 10% of aluminum fluoride, 8 - 15% of potassium nitrate and 2 - 15% of ammonium chloride and sodium compounds, characterized in that it contains by weight: 7 - 15% of sodium chloride, 15 - 30% of sodium carbonate, 10 - 30% of sodium sulphate and 5 - 30% of sodium nitrate.

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest środek, do eliminacji wapnia, magnezu i cynku z ciekłego aluminium lub jego stopów, znajdujący zastosowanie w metalurgii i odlewnictwie.The subject of the invention is an agent for the elimination of calcium, magnesium and zinc from liquid aluminum or its alloys, applicable in metallurgy and foundry.
Produkcja stopów zwłaszcza odlewniczych oparta jest głównie o metal pochodzący z topienia złomów, a tak otrzymane ciekłe aluminium lub jego stopy zawiera zanieczyszczenia metaliczne, których obecność znacznie utrudnia otrzymanie założonego rodzaju stopu. Najczęściej metalami zanieczyszczającymi jest wapń, magnez i cynk, a usuwanie ich z ciekłego metalu wymaga zastosowania metod rafinacyjnych opartych głównie na użyciu soli i żużli.The production of casting alloys is based mainly on the metal from the melting of scrap metal, and the thus obtained liquid aluminum or its alloys contain metallic impurities, the presence of which makes it difficult to obtain the desired type of alloy.
