Abstract

The window has a window frame (101) and a set of cover members (111), a flashing frame (121) being provided for forming a transition between the window and the surrounding roofing. At least one insulating frame (131) surrounds the window frame. A bottom portion (131c) of each insulating frame piece has a pre-determined maximum width (w), and the width decreases in the height direction of the insulating frame piece. The second leg (121b) of the flashing member (121) and the second leg (111b) of the cover member (111) each extends substantially in parallel with the second side of the insulating frame piece (131). Second, third and fourth insulating frames (141,151,161) may also be provided.
