Description

Oprócz zastosowania do plynnego powietrza, kainit moze byc uzyty do wy¬ twarzania stalych materjalów wybucho¬ wych. Polaczona z tern mala szybkosc wybu¬ chu powoduje rozprzestrzenianie sie gazów w szczelinach porysowanego wegla, czemu nalezy zapobiec przez owiniecie naboi w papier. PL PLCurrently, cartridges are used in mines, made of 85% kainite with grains ground to 0.3 mm, and the added sawdust should be only up to 1 mm thick. In addition to its use in liquid air, kainite can be used to produce solid explosives. Until now, cartridges with organic bodies of various percentages of C were used for blasting coal, but the explosion temperature could not be lowered below the ignition point of coal dust, which made the use of such an explosive dangerous, or more expensive cartridges with a shell (shield) were used, which was inconvenient in practice. The essence of the present invention is a mixture of the appropriate percentage ratio and fineness of organic bodies with the cheapest fossil mineral with the highest possible specific heat, which lowers the explosion temperature accordingly. A whole range of minerals with a higher specific heat should be mentioned here. more appropriate than those previously used, e.g., sodium chloride, potassium chloride, barium sulfate, etc. During test firing at an experimental mine, it was found that kainite, used to saturate cartridges with liquid air, gives better results than rock salt. In order to achieve the thickest possible grades of coal, the kainite and sawdust mixture must have a low calorific value. The combined low explosion speed causes the spread of gases in the cracks in the scratched coal, which should be prevented by wrapping the cartridges in paper. The causes of the danger of explosives depend on the sensitivity to explosion, e.g., nitroglycerin, or on the high explosion temperature. In both cases, salts with the highest specific heat should be used to obtain the greatest crushing power, e.g. dynamite, or a slow-acting explosive. PL PL
