PLIn the hitherto known bottoms of steam pans, in which a favorable circulation of the heated water was achieved, the flow of steam was not taken into account. Trials have shown that the appropriate steam flow influences the heat absorption coefficient of the steam by the water. A suitable steam circuit enables the heat of the steam to be transferred quickly to the heated liquid, which increases the economic value of the pan. The invention relates to a pan bottom, by means of which the efficiency of these devices is improved. The present invention consists in the fact that the bottom of any shape is provided with a wall parallel to the wall of the heated bottom, which allows a favorable circulation of the supplied steam. Two examples of the invention are shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a lens-shaped bottom and Fig. 2 a convex bottom. The steam flows through the conduit 4 and flows through the wall 7 along the bottom 1.
