Abstract

A container having a hull which has a primary opening which is closed by a first cover element, in which the top of the container/can comprises a cover tongue (30) formed via a partitioning line (27), which is released after breaking out an opening. The cover tongue (30) has a recessed bead (32) and an adjacent raised bead (36), in which the oblique surface is comprised of at least one section of a side-piece (33) of the recessed piece, and at least one section of the side-piece (37) of the raised bead : Independent claims are included for the following: (1) (A) A container top or cover as a drinking can (2) (B) A method for opening a can or container.
