Abstract

Method for dispensing content from an aerosol container, the container having a container knob which in a depressed state opens a valve of the container for dispensing the content of the container and in a non-depressed state releases said valve into a closed condition, the container knob being biased in the non-depressed state, wherein for dispensing a fixed amount of food ingredient from the container each time, the container is connected with an operating device comprising a user interface, a knob actuator and an intermediate mechanism arranged for keeping the knob in a depressed state for a fixed time after actuating the user interface. The invention further relates to an operating device for carrying out such a method, an assembly, an aerosol container and a dispensing cap.
