Tymcza¬ sem wszelkie najdrobniejsze nawet waha¬ nia temperatury walca karbujacego beda powodowaly odpowiednie zmiany w pro¬ mieniu krzywizny zlobków czyli karbów filmu, wskutek czego karby filmu nie beda jednakowe. Ten zabieg oczyszczania walca powoduje chwilowe obnizenie sie tem¬ peratury walca karbujacego, lecz wskutek zastosowania urzadzenia do nagrzewania, stanowiacego przedmiot wynalazku niniej¬ szego, to chwilowe ochlodzenie sie walca szybko mija. Do¬ prowadzanie pradu zmiennego lub stalego o dowolnem napieciu, np. 110 V, uskutecznia sie zapomoca przewodu 114, laczacego grzejnik z opornikiem 115 i dalej z ampe¬ romierzem 116, przylaczonym do przewo¬ du sieciowego 117, czerpiacego prad z do¬ wolnego zródla. Przewody sieciowe 117 i 118 sa polaczone przewodami 123 i 124 z uzwoje¬ niem 125 transformatora 126. Lebek 137 srubki 135, umozliwiajacy nastawianie srubki, a wraz z nia i konca jej 134, wska¬ zuje jednoczesnie polozenie konca 134 srubki na podzialce 138, przymocowanej do pokrywki 136. PL PLThis invention relates to devices for crimping cinematographic films used in Keller-Dorian color cinematography. Experience has shown that during film crimping, it is very difficult to maintain a constant temperature in the device so that the film base, coated with a photosensitive emulsion and made of cellulose acetate or nitrate, maintains a constant plasticity. When feeding the film to the crimping machine, the film may have the desired temperature and moisture content, but it has proven very difficult to maintain a constant film temperature during crimping. Meanwhile, even the slightest variation in the temperature of the crimping roller will cause corresponding changes in the radius of curvature of the film grooves, or crimps, resulting in uneven crimps. Due to the microscopic dimensions of the notches, any above-mentioned variations in the radius of curvature of the notches will significantly affect the colors of the film displayed on the screen, with these colors, usually red, blue and green, appearing paler on the screen. The subject of the present invention is a device enabling uniform results to be achieved by using a notching roller heated in such a vertical plane independently of one another on an axis 38, provided with nuts 39 and 40, holding the arms 36 and 37 in their given positions. Axis 38 is pivotally mounted in the center on a pivot 41, moved by axis 38 and mounted in a support 42 placed on the work table of the device. Nuts 43 are used to hold the axle 38 in the desired position. Under the roller 18 there is a steel corrugating roller 45, the surface of which is shaped in any way that suits the purpose of the roller, i.e. corrugating films. When crimping films, for example, crosswise, the roller 45 is provided with semicircular ribs running along the roller, the ribs being so densely arranged that there are 15 to 30 ribs per millimeter of the circumference of the roller 45. The crimping roller 45 has journals 46 and 47, by which it is rotatably mounted in the side frames 31 and 32. The roller is rotated in any way, e.g. by means of a worm wheel 48 mounted on an axle 47 and meshing with a worm 49 mounted at the end of the axle 50, rotatably mounted in the side frame 32 and in the bearing 51. A pulley 52 is mounted at the end of the axle 50, which serves to drive the axle. by means of any drive source. After moving between the roller 18 and the crimping roller 45, the film moves along a brass guide roller 53 mounted on a steel axle 54, provided with side flanges and rotatably mounted in a frame 55. Then the film partially encircles a brass roller 56, equipped with a steel core 57, then a rubber roller 58, mounted on a steel core 59, also rotatably mounted in the aforementioned frame 55, and then under a similarly made rubber roller 60, mounted on a steel core 61, mounted in arms 62 and 63, which in turn are mounted pivotally on an axle 64, mounted in frame 55. To one of the arms 62 is attached a helical spring 65, attached at its other end to the frame 55 so that the spring constantly presses the aforementioned roller 60 against the roller 58. The roller 58 is driven by means of a pulley 66, coupled by a belt 67 to a pulley 68 mounted on the journal of the core 19 of the rubber roller 18. After sliding over the roller 60, the film 4 is inserted into a box containing a roll of ordinary construction on which the film is wound. This roller, not shown in the drawing, is driven by a belt 69 which couples it to a pulley 70 mounted on the other end of the core of roller 18. In order to maintain a constant temperature of the crimping roller during film crimping, roller 45 is heated to a temperature between 100° and 120°C, depending on the type and condition of the film being crimped. The most recommended temperature is 110°C. It is recommended that the roller 45 be heated for a certain period of time before the film 4 is moved over the roller 45. It is also recommended that the roller 45 be cleaned every three hours using a chamois leather and gasoline as a cleaning fluid to remove dust from the roller 45 that accumulates on the roller from the film 4 and for other reasons. This roller cleaning procedure causes a temporary reduction in the temperature of the crimping roller, but due to the use of the heating device which is the subject of the present invention, this temporary cooling of the roller quickly passes. The roller regains its original temperature in a period of time corresponding to the passage of only three or four feet of film over it, whereas in any known heating device, each cleaning operation of the crimping roller takes place after at least 20 feet of film. The heating device which is the subject of the present invention is arranged in such a way that the roller constantly imparts the desired temperature to the film crimped thereby. The reason is that such results can be achieved by applying heat directly to the outer layer of the corrugating roller from the outside. The device according to the invention heats not only the surface layer, whose temperature is to be maintained at a constant level, but also the entire roller uniformly to the desired temperature. A device of this type has great advantages over devices by means of which heating is effected from the inside of the object being heated. Experience has shown that when crimping films it is necessary to keep all doors and windows in the room where the film is crimped constantly closed in order to eliminate all possibility of drafts, as otherwise the resulting film is so unevenly crimped that the colors of the films produced on such films are usually considerably altered. Below are described by way of example some embodiments of the invention, illustrated in the drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a top view of the apparatus; Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section of the apparatus along line 2-2; Fig. 3 shows a cross-section along line 3-3; Fig. 4 — circuit diagram of a current interrupter, and Fig. 5 — diagram of a slightly differently made current interrupter. In the drawing, the number / denotes a film drying box containing a series of rollers 2 and 3, over which the film 4 moves while being dried in any suitable way, e.g. by means of an air stream at a temperature of 50° to 60° C. The film 4 may have any size or width and may be made of a substrate coated with a conventional photosensitive emulsion. The film base can be made of cellulose acetate or nitrate or other suitable material. After sliding over the rollers 2 and 3, the film 4 slides out of the box 1 over a rubber guide roller 5, provided with side flanges and cooperating with the rubber roller 6. Then the film 4 slides through the inclined and closed box 7, slides over a guide roller 8, provided with side flanges, and then slides under the rubber roller 9, mounted in arms 10, mounted with wheels on the non-rotating roller 11. A helical spring 12A is attached to the roller 11 at one end, wound on this roller and attached at the other end to one of the rollers. arms 10, as a result of which the roller 9 is pressed downwards against the hard rubber roller 13. After passing under the roller 9, the film 4 slides on a rubber guide disc 14 provided with side flanges. The rollers 8, 13 and 14 are mounted in a rotatable manner in a stand 15, wherein the roller 13 is provided with a steel core 17 for this purpose. From this point the film continues its journey under a rubber roller 18 provided with an iron core 19. The core 19 is mounted in a rotatable manner in arms 20 and 21, which protrude upwards from sleeves 22 and 23 and are fixedly mounted on rods 24 and 25. The sleeves 22 and 23 are provided on their lower side with flat plates 26, 27, which rest on non-circular discs 28 and 29, flattened on one side, mounted on an axle 30, which is mounted in a rotatable manner in the side frames 31 and 32 of the device and attached to the work table. of the device by means of screws 33. A handle 34 is used to rotate the discs 28 and 29; by rotating these discs the shaft 18 can be raised or lowered into the working position. The axis 30 can also be moved in the longitudinal direction. The rods 24 and 25 are fastened with their ends, as shown in Fig. 1, to arms 36 and 37, which are rotatably mounted in the platform. — 2 — ... The supply of alternating or direct current of any voltage, e.g. 110 V, is effected by means of a wire 114 connecting the heater with a resistor 115 and further with an ammeter 116 connected to a mains wire 117 drawing current from any source. A second mains lead 118 is connected by a lead 119 to a mercury switch 120 for connecting this lead to a spring armature 121 which is connected by a lead 122 to a heater 113. Mains leads 117 and 118 are connected by leads 123 and 124 to a winding 125 of a transformer 126. A second winding 127 of this transformer is connected by a lead 128 to a mercury column 129 housed in a glass tube 130 which terminates in a spherical extension 131 housed in a metal holder 132 which is in contact with a smooth surface part 133 of the corrugating roller. left for this purpose without ribs at one end of this cylinder. When the mercury column is lengthened due to a rise in temperature, e.g. to 110°C, it closes the electric circuit by contacting the end 134 of the screw 135 screwed into the cover 136 mounted on the upper end of the tube 130. The head 137 of the screw 135, which enables the adjustment of the screw and, with it, its end 134, indicates at the same time the position of the end 134 of the screw on the scale 138 attached to the cover 136. The cover 136 is connected by a wire 139 to the electromagnet 140, which cooperates with the spring armature 121 to break the electric circuit. after exciting this electromagnet, connected by wire 141 to winding 127 of transformer 126. When the temperature of the corrugating roller 45 rises above the desired level, the electromagnet 140 is excited, which breaks the connection of the armature 121 with the mercury of the switch 120, thereby interrupting the current supply to the heater 113.
