Abstract

The method involves transporting a porous concrete block on a cutting bed by a stationary cutting frame. Two completely exchangeable cutting frames (8, 8a) are attached to a longitudinal cutting device e.g. fixed longitudinal cutting station (1). The cutting frame (8) is automatically or remote-controllably separated from a cutting location with a cutting frame replacing device that is integrated in the cutting device, and transported to a parking station. The cutting frame (8a) is automatically or remote-controllably transported from the parking station to the cutting location. An independent claim is also included for a device for longitudinally cutting a plastic porous concrete block.
