Abstract

The device (10) has a support (12) i.e. metal frame, with a bearing surface (A) for bearing of a wood-based sheet (14), and a suction device (16) for applying a negative pressure on a surface of the sheet. The suction device has a suction bar (18.1) linearly running in sections. A sealing (24) held at a side of the bar is turned towards the bearing surface. The bar forms an evacuation suction cavity (26) in the sheet. The cavity has a suction surface turned towards the sheet. An application head (42) applies a tempering liquid (40) to a tempering strip (38). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a wood-based sheet.
