Abstract

A tubular skylight (20) that comprises a ceiling frame (100) in which a diffuser plate (107) is removably installed. A compressible gasket (117) is placed between the ceiling frame (100) and the diffuser plate (107). The diffuser plate (107) is secured to the ceiling frame (100) without compressing the gasket (117) by a partial turn of the diffuser plate (107) relative to the ceiling frame (100), and the diffuser plate (107) compresses said compression gasket (117) upon activation of a tightening mechanism.
