Description
Opis wynalazkuDescription of the invention
The subject of the invention is a method of producing a closed polymer coating from a thermoplastic material applied to a metal wire, especially with a circular cross-section, in the process of coating extrusion, taking place in the extrusion process line.
Zarys sposobu wytwarzania powłoki polimerowej zamkniętej został również przedstawiony w artykule J. Cichewicza, W. Mokańskiego, J. Wieluńskiego i M. Zientalskiego noszącym tytuł „Nowoczesne technologie produkcji kabli telekomunikacyjnych w Bydgoskiej Fabryce Kabli”, opublikowanym w czasopiśmie Przegląd Telekomunikacyjny 1997 r., zeszyt 8, strony 513+515 oraz w artykule A. Tor zatytułowanym „Charakterystyka procesu wytłaczania powlekającego”, zamieszczonym w czasopiśmie Eksploatacja i Niezawodność 2005 r., zeszyt 2, strony 18+22. W rozwiązaniu, według opisu patentowego polskiego nr 182150, przedstawiono sposób i urządzenie do formowania, a równocześnie ciągłego orientowania cząsteczek wyrobu z krystalicznego termoplastycznego tworzywa polimerowego. There is a known method of producing a closed polymer coating applied to various sections, described generally in the book Ch. Rauwendaal entitled "Undrestanding Extrusion", published by Hanser Publishers in Munich in 1998, pages 40:44, as well as in a collective work edited by R. Sikora under the title "Processing of polymer materials. Logical, formal and terminological basics ", published by the Publishing House of the Lublin University of Technology in Lublin in 2006, pages 191 + 210. An outline of the method of manufacturing a closed polymer coating was also presented in the article by J. Cichewicz, W. Mokański, J. Wieluński and M. Zientalski entitled "Modern technologies for the production of telecommunications cables in Bydgoska Fabryka Kabli", published in the journal Przegląd Telekomunikacyjny 1997, issue 8, pages 513 + 515 and in the article by A. Tor entitled "Characteristics of the coating extrusion process", published in the journal Eksploatacja i Niezawodność 2005, issue 2, pages 18 + 22. There is known from the Polish patent description No. 179332 a method and a device for extruding a tubular profile from a thermoplastic material. The tubular profile extruded by an extruder, after exiting the extrusion head, is internally cooled in an internal cooling device containing liquid coolant lines which are releasably connected to the internal mandrel of the extruder and the pipe profile sealing devices. The tubular profile is then cooled in an external cooling device which is placed downstream of the extruder. After cooling, the tubular profile is discharged by means of a collecting device. In the solution, according to Polish Patent No. 182150, a method and a device for forming and at the same time continuous orientation of particles of a product made of a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material are presented. Extruded material is forced through an extrusion die where it undergoes axial stretching and radial stretching. Further axial stretching is carried out in the stream of material exiting the die of the extrusion head while subjected to cooling with a quench mandrel, and the product is subjected to further stretching. The main characteristic of the prior art provided in the aforementioned books, cited articles and presented patent descriptions and presented in other sources is the inability to produce a closed thermoplastic coating on a metal wire without exposing the ends of the wire after their indispensable transverse cutting into sections intended for use, which results from a significant difference in thermal expansion of a closed polymer coating adhesively deposited on a metal wire and a metal wire. The difference in thermal expansion causes internal stress mainly in the polymer coating, and its significant thermal contraction in relation to the thermal contraction of the metal wire results in breaking the adhesion at the ends of the metal wire and exposing its ends.
The essence of the method of producing a closed polymer coating from a thermoplastic material applied to a metal wire, in particular having a circular cross-section, in the coating extrusion process, taking place in the extrusion process line, after standard cooling in a cooling device being a component of the technological line, is that the polymer coating is closed 0.6 mm thick, made of plasticized poly (vinyl chloride), applied to a metal wire with a diameter of 2 mm, adhesively adhered to it, after standard cooling, the coating in a cooling device is subjected to capacitive heating at a temperature of 240 ° C, during 0, 2 seconds in the heating device followed by a kinematic annular impingement cooling with flowing nitrogen liquefied at -180 ° C for 0.33 seconds in the cooling device. The coating is heated in a kinematic, ring, impact or radiant manner, while the capacitive heating device has the shape of a cylindrical ring with an internal diameter of 10 mm and a length of 300 mm, and the cooling device has the form of a cylindrical tunnel with an internal diameter of 4.0 mm and a length of 500 mm.
Korzystnym skutkiem wynalazku jest to, że w sposobie wytwarzania powłoki polimerowej zamkniętej z tworzywa termoplastycznego nanoszonej na drut metalowy, zwłaszcza o przekroju poprzecznym kołowym, w procesie wytłaczania powlekającego, zachodzącego w linii technologicznej tego wytłaczania powstaje techniczna możliwość wytwarzania powłoki zamkniętej, bez odsłanianiaThe advantageous effect of the invention is that in the method of producing a closed polymer coating from a thermoplastic material applied to a metal wire, especially with a circular cross-section, in the coating extrusion process occurring in the extrusion process line, it is technically possible to produce a closed coating without exposing

The ends of the wire after their necessary transverse cutting into lengths during use. This method is advantageous for the visual reasons of a metal wire coated with a closed polymeric coating and for the safety of users.
