Przedmiotem wynalazku jest stół, zwłaszcza tapicerski, służący do produkcji i montażu mebli tapicerowanych lub mających zastosowanie w przemyśle lekkim.The subject of the invention is a table, especially an upholstery table, for the production and assembly of upholstered furniture or for light industry applications.

Stoły tapicerskie posiadają blat roboczy, najczęściej drewniany, obłożony materiałem. Jako materiał służący do pokrycia blatu roboczego stosuje się tkaninę dywanową, linoleum lub inne materiały. Stoły tapicerskie wyposażone są często w mechanizmy umożliwiające nastawienie blatu roboczego na różne wysokości w trakcie produkcji i montażu na nich mebli tapicerowanych. W przemyśle lekkim stosuje się stoły o zmiennej wysokości przy pracach montażowych i serwisowych. Na tkaninie dywanowej 6 znajdują się metalowe ślizgi 7, które zamocowane są do stołu. Stół wyposażony jest w elementy automatyki umożliwiające nożne zmiany jego wysokości i automatyczną blokadę. Metalowe ś lizgi 7 połączone są z przewodem 8, którego koniec jest uziemiony przez połączenie jego z elementem wyposażenia pomieszczenia zapewniającym odprowadzenie ładunków elektrostatycznych do ziemi.
