Abstract

The package has a tray for containing items, placed inside a belt to slide like a drawer, where the package is made of cardboard or semi-rigid material. The belt is formed from a cardboard plate and grooved to define a side panel (21) of belt. The tray is formed by folding of another plate, cut and grooved to define a bottom panel, panels and transverse side panels (12). The tray and the belt are retained with each other by a detachable element (21A) e.g. adhesive point, connecting the tray to the belt, before positioning of items. The element connects the belt to one of the side panels. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a package.
