Description

The subject of the invention is a label with color marking of clothes for the blind, which is universal, durable, takes up little space, cheap to produce, easy to learn, aesthetic and discreet, thanks to which the blind can read information about the basic features of clothing such as: color, intensity and pattern. The label is used to define the overall color of the garment and can be used by blind, visually impaired, color-blind, achromatopsy and people with other visual impairments.

W znanym stanie techniki istnieją systemy identyfikacji kolorów w postaci etykiet umieszczanych na ubraniu. Znane są amerykańskie zgłoszenia patentowe nr US 5839215 i nr US 20060169783. Pierwsze zgłoszenie przedstawia oznakowanie przyczepiane do ubrania zawierające napisy literowe, pismo braille'a, oraz sporej wielkości wykresy barwne z zaznaczeniem koloru. Figury geometryczne swym kształtem nawiązują do pierwszych liter nazwy danego koloru w języku angielskim. Np. kolor pomarańczowy (z ang. orange) to koło, czarny (z ang. black) to kwadrat itp. Natomiast plus oznacza duże natężenie koloru, minus - małe natężenie koloru. Zgłoszenie to zawiera również podpowiedź łączenia. There are color identification systems in the form of labels on clothes in the known art. There are known US patent applications 5839215 and US 20060169783. The first application shows a label attached to a garment containing lettering, Braille, and large-size color charts with color markings. The second application shows a color and intensity marking attached to the garment, consisting of geometric figures, plus and minus. Geometric shapes refer to the first letters of the name of a given color in English. For example, orange is a circle, black is a square, etc. On the other hand, plus means high color intensity, minus - low color intensity. This ticket also includes a link prompt.

It is known that for reasons of ease of use it would be desirable to obtain a universal and space-saving marking. In the solution according to the invention, the marking is universal (available to anyone in the world as it does not use plain or braille) and occupies a small area of 10 mm x 55 mm on the label. The universality of color marking is very important, because the blind constitute a small percentage of society and a product is desired for a multilingual group of people, a universal system is also important for emphasizing respect for all blind people regardless of nationality or language. In the solution according to the invention, the marking is derived from the heraldic plaster system. Small size - they ensure cheap production, comfortable wearing, discretion, ease of sewing in, etc. Not using braille makes the marking easier for the sighted to learn.

The label according to the invention defines the size of the markings which is important in determining the "legibility" of the marks for a blind finger. Each sign is small, fits under the finger, is clearly different to the touch from the others and does not confuse with others (which can occur with many small geometric figures) - it gives quality and speed of reading. The height and width of the print used in labels is the minimum "legibility" of the mark for a blind person, which is 0.6 mm high and 0.5 mm wide. These are the quantities that are felt and recognized by the human finger. In addition, the solution according to the invention has a pattern marking on the garment.

The solution according to the invention consists of a three-dimensional mark, in relief lettering 0.6 mm high and 0.5 mm wide, consisting of raised marks representing the color, an arrowhead mark representing the intensity of the color and four marks representing the pattern.

Prawidłowe wielkości pokazuje Rys. 2.The solution according to the invention has the advantage of integrating the blind with the sighted, it enables the sighted and the blind to learn the basic information about mixing colors. The most important thing is that according to the invention, each of the four markings shown in Fig. 1 fits under the touch of a fingertip and is legible to the blind. For tactile readability, the size of the markings and the spacing between them are extremely important. The correct sizes are shown in Fig. 2.

An advantage of the solution according to the invention is that the label facilitates the individual selection of aesthetic garments. A blind person or a visually impaired person can maintain a certain independence, which is difficult in such a very visual world.

The label is small, aesthetic for the sighted, discreet. It can be sewn inside the clothes during the production of clothes, in the store or individually by the blind or their family. The label is resistant to damage during normal use, it can be washed, ironed, dried and maintained together with the clothes it is on.

Etykieta według wynalazku zawierająca oznakowanie składające się z:A label according to the invention containing a marking consisting of:

• 7 wypukłych znaków symbolizujących 7 kolorów: czerwony, zielony, czarny, żółty, biały i brązowy. Znaki te wywodzą się z tynktur heraldycznych (czyli graficznego przedstawienia barw).• 7 raised characters representing 7 colors: red, green, black, yellow, white and brown. These signs are derived from heraldic plaster (i.e. the graphic representation of colors).

PL 215 426 B1PL 215 426 B1

Rys. 3The heraldic code used, consisting of a graphic representation of three primary colors: red, yellow and blue, one derivative color: green and black and white. Additionally, for coding a composite color; brown, in the solution according to the invention, a symbol from Polish heraldry was used (although it meant a flesh color, but distinguished by a distinctly different texture). Fig. 3

Pozostałe kolory oznaczono przez zestawienie obok siebie dwóch barw. Zestawione w pary - symbolizują barwy złożone, na zasadzie mieszania barw na palecie malarskiej. The other colors are marked by juxtaposing two colors next to each other. Combined in pairs - they symbolize complex colors, based on the principle of mixing colors on a painting palette.

Rys. 6This is how the colors orange, purple, pink and gray are presented. Fig. 4 • a sign representing an arrowhead, denoting the intensity of the color (arrowhead pointing up - means light intensity, pointing down - dark intensity) Fig. 5 • 4 stamps (circle, square, rectangle, triangle), symbolizing the pattern on the clothing . No marking indicates that the material is smooth. Fig. 6

Rys. 8.Sample markings of the material from which the garment is sewn are shown in Fig. 7. The color marking on the label is made by embossing with rubberized inks on the fabric with the print height: 0.6 mm, width 0.5 mm. Fig. 8.

Przykładową etykietę z oznakowaniem kolorów, wszytą przy metce z logiem firmy pokazuje Rys. 9 Wielkości pozostałych oznaczeń pokazuje Rys. 10.Thus, a dark pink striped garment (Fig. 7, example 2) will be marked on the label with a red sign, a white sign, an arrow pointing downwards and a convex rectangle. An example of a label with color marking, sewn in next to a label with the company's logo is shown in Fig. 9. The sizes of the remaining markings are shown in Fig. 10.
