Abstract

The invention relates to a driving rod assembly for a window, door, or the like, comprising at least one driving rod, at least one driving rod-guiding mechanism that can be fastened to the window, door, or the like, and a mounted position-fixing means which cooperates with the driving rod in order to predefine a mounted position. The mounted position-fixing means (29; 50; 62) is disengaged from the driving rod (2) as a result of the fastening forces occurring when the driving rod-guiding mechanism (3; 41; 60) is mounted in order to retain the driving rod-guiding mechanism (3; 41; 60) on the window, door, or the like. The invention also relates to a corresponding method.
