W patencie Nr 19789 opisano sposób przeróbki langbeinitu, wedlug którego lang- beinit w temperaturze podwyzszonej rozpu¬ szcza sie w lugu, otrzymywanym przez zmie¬ szanie czesci macierzystych lugów szenito- wych i calej ilosci lugów, uzyskanych z siar¬ czanu potasowo-magnezowego, tak zwanej kalimagnezji, po rozlozeniu go woda z wy¬ dzieleniem siarczanu potasu. Przy tym spo¬ sobie przeróbki czesc macierzystych lugów szenitowych o pewnej zawartosci siarczanu potasu jest usuwana z obiegu krazenia lu¬ gów, przez co traci sie cala ilosc siarczanu potasu, zawartego w tych lugach, i odpo¬ wiednio obniza sie wydajnosc procesu. Ma¬ cierzyste lugi szenitowe nie sa jeszcze na¬ sycone siarczanem magnezu i wobec tego moga wydzielac kalimagnezje az do osia¬ gniecia stanu nasycenia siarczanem magne¬ zu.
