A writing device in accordance with the ornamental pattern, comprising a three-segment handle, a push-button portion, and a catch, is characterized in that the lower and middle handle segments have truncated conical shapes with convex side walls and an oblique base, wherein the sides of the middle segment have three symmetrical pairs of parallel, obliquely arranged, longitudinal slots. The edge between the middle segment and the upper segment runs obliquely in a side view and arc-shaped in the front and rear views, this edge being parallel to the upper edge of the upper handle segment. The lateral surface of the push-button part has parallel grooves, and its oblique upper surface features a catch, which is a plate whose arms form the outline of an obtuse angle with a rounded top.
