Description

Obecnie stwierdzono, iz srodki piora¬ ce i emulgujace, otrzymane wedlug pa¬ tentu Nr. 7246 z soli kwasu pyrofosforowe- go i kleju, zelatyny, cial bialkowych, sa¬ poniny, kazeiny i t. d. nadaja sie dosko¬ nale do wstepnego traktowania skóry bia¬ lej przed garbowaniem, w celu uzyskania bardzo miekkich i elastycznych skór. Ilosc dodawanej mieszaniny pyrofosforanu i kazeiny zalezy od gatun¬ ku skór; im wiecej zawieraja one tluszczu, tern wiecej nalezy uzyc powyzszej mie¬ szaniny. PLAs is well known, animal skins must be pretreated with JK to remove the hair and fatty tissue from the flesh side. After liming and dehairing, that is, removing the hair, the skin is strongly swollen ("full, full") and still contains some lime residues inside. Leather, tanned in this state (naked), gives poor skin. Due to the removal of lime, the swelling is reduced with fermented bran, meal, excrement or pure enzymes; the skin loosens so that the impurities remaining inside the skin can be easily removed by mechanical means. the process of tanning surfaces, which can be recognized by the degree of slipperiness. The softness and flexibility of tanned leather depend both on the degree of liming and, to a large extent, on the degree of subsequent decalcification and removal of impurities. It has now been found that detergents and emulsifiers obtained according to patent No. 7246 made of pyrophosphoric acid salt and glue, gelatine, protein bodies, lettuce, casein, etc., are perfect for pretreatment of white leather before tanning to obtain very soft and supple leather. By treating the skins with the aforementioned method before or after the feasting, the skins are obtained much softer and more elastic than the methods known to date. The method according to the present invention can also replace the hitherto used liming (liming hides). The duration of the treatment and the concentration of the bath depend on the desired effect. The following example explains in more detail how to put the invention into practice. The skins, prepared in a known manner in a wet workshop, by liming and calcination (decalcification), are put into citrus (haspli) or drums with water at a temperature of 35 - 40 ° C and treated for 1 - 1 to 2 hours with the addition of 1 to 1.5% of a mixture consisting of 2 parts of neutralized sodium pyrophosphate and 1 part of casein. The hides are tanned and tanned in the usual way. The amount of the mixture of pyrophosphate and casein to be added depends on the type of leather; the more they contain fat, the more you should use the above mixture. PL
