Abstract

The invention relates to a condenser dryer (1) comprising a drying chamber (2) for objects that are to be dried and a process air duct (3) which accommodates an electric heater (4), a heat exchanger (5), and a fan (6). The condenser dryer (1) further comprises a latent heat accumulator (7) and a cooling air duct (8). The latent heat accumulator (7) is arranged inside the cooling air duct (8). The invention also relates to a method for operating said condenser dryer (1).
