Abstract

1. A plug-in unit (2) for connecting a gutter (1) to a downpipe, comprising two conical tubular plug-in portions (8, 9, 20), which differ in diameter and serve to connect the unit to a mating downpipe, the plug-in unit having at its gutter end at the rim of its opening two lugs (13 and 11), which are adapted to be hung in in the water fold (12) and at the roll (10) of the gutter, characterized in that the plug-in unit comprises a straight tubular inlet portion (6, 19), which always extends radially with respect to the gutter (1) regardless of the inclination with which said inlet portion is installed, and a straight tubular outlet portion (7), said inlet and outlet portions differ in diameter, the transition between the inlet and outlet portions is curved with a radius of 40 to 80 mm, each of the inlet and outlet portions has at its inner end a conical tubular fitting portion (8, 9, 20), and the lugs (11, 13, 22, 24) have such a length that the unit can be installed with any desired inclination.
