Description
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest urządzenie do pulsacyjnej wentylacji pomieszczeń z ciągłą regulacją strumienia objętościowego powietrza do poprawy mikroklimatu, mające zastosowanie w budownictwie mieszkaniowym, obiektach biurowych i użyteczności publicznej. The subject of the invention is a device for pulsatile ventilation of rooms with continuous regulation of the air volume flow to improve the microclimate, applicable in residential buildings, office buildings and public buildings.
Urządzenie do wentylacji pulsacyjnej pomieszczeń wykorzystujące wymiennik akumulacyjny do odzysku ciepła jest powszechnie stosowane, opisane zostało w artykule naukowym: Joniec W.: Zdecentralizowana wentylacja budynków i mieszkań, „Rynek instalacyjny” nr 04/2017, s. 69-73. The device for pulsed ventilation of rooms using a storage exchanger for heat recovery is widely used, described in the scientific article: Joniec W.: Decentralized ventilation of buildings and apartments, "Rynek instalacyjny" No. 04/2017, pp. 69-73. The device consists of a ventilation duct placed in the external wall of the building and equipped with terminating elements on both sides - a supply and exhaust element and an air intake/exhaust unit. Inside the duct there is a reversible fan, equipped with a control system enabling automatic switching of the air flow direction. Additionally, the duct includes a storage exchanger, made of a material with high thermal capacity, which has channels enabling air to flow through it. The warm air removed from the room heats the storage exchanger, then, after changing the operating cycle, cold external air flows through the exchanger, taking heat from it, and preheated, it is blown into the room. The device can work independently or in a pair of two coordinated units - when one supplies air, the other works in exhaust mode. The disadvantage of the above solution is that it limits the efficiency of heat recovery in the exchanger and blows into the room a significantly different amount of air than the designed one. Since the flow resistance and, consequently, the fan pressure are small, even a small pressure difference on the inside and outside of the device can have a large impact on the air flow values. This is especially important in winter, when the device is most useful - the temperature difference inside and outside the building causes strong thermal buoyancy. If gravity ventilation is used in other rooms of the apartment, there will be negative pressure inside. A similar effect occurs if the apartment has a leaky door to the staircase, which naturally creates a chimney draft - negative pressure is created on the lower floors and overpressure on the upper floors. Large pressure differences can also be caused by wind. Typically, in winter conditions, the pressure inside the building will be lower than outside, so the amount of air removed by the device and heating the exchanger will be smaller than the amount of air entering the building absorbing heat, which results in a lower supply temperature and a smaller amount of recovered energy. Blowing air that is too cold may also cause discomfort for users.
The Polish application description P.416351 describes a method for measuring fluid velocity using an anemometer with a rotating measuring element and an anemometer with a rotating measuring element, which presents a device for measuring air flow in ventilation using a rotor placed in a duct, set in motion by the flowing air and a magnetic acceleration and deceleration mechanism. The flowing air stream is calculated based on the instantaneous rotational speed of the rotor. An electromagnetic system that changes the speed is used to reduce the inertia of the rotor during changes in flow rate. This mechanism is not necessary for use in the patented device because the airflow will not change rapidly over time.
Ponadto znany jest sposób pomiaru strumienia objętościowego powietrza wentylacyjnego za pomocą elementu dławiącego, przedstawiony w normie PN-EN ISO 5167-1:2004 oraz za pomocą rurki spiętrzającej, przedstawiony w normie PN-81/M-42367.Additionally, there is a known method of measuring the volume flow of ventilation air using a throttling element, presented in the PN-EN ISO 5167-1:2004 standard, and using an expansion tube, presented in the PN-81/M-42367 standard.
Celem wynalazku jest udoskonalenie konstrukcji urządzenia do wentylacji pulsacyjnej pomieszczeń wykorzystujące wymiennik akumulacyjny do odzysku ciepła. Udoskonalenie polega na wprowadzeniu pomiaru chwilowego strumienia objętości powietrza, co umożliwia regulację prędkości obrotowej wentylatora tak aby strumienie powietrza nawiewanego i wywiewanego były równe. The purpose of the invention is to improve the design of a device for pulsed ventilation of rooms using a storage exchanger for heat recovery. The improvement consists in the introduction of measurement of the instantaneous air volume flow, which allows the fan speed to be adjusted so that the supply and exhaust air flows are equal.
This goal was achieved by placing a measuring rotor with a sensor measuring its rotational speed in the ventilation duct. The rotor rotation speed is proportional to the instantaneous air volume flow. The data from the sensor is used by the automatic controller to change the fan speed.
A device for pulsed room ventilation with continuous regulation of the air volume flow, to be mounted in the building wall, equipped with a fan, a ventilation duct equipped with air intakes and air outlets, characterized by the fact that in the ventilation duct to the internal part of the supply and exhaust element, a reversible fan with rotational speed from 0 rpm to 2400 rpm, preferably from 1 rpm to 500 rpm, the direction of rotation of which changes in a time interval from 20 seconds to 2 minutes, preferably from 0.2 seconds to 10 seconds, and halfway along the ventilation duct there is a storage heat exchanger, while halfway between the air intake/exhaust and the heat exchanger there is an optical rotational speed measurement system, consisting of a radiation transmitter and receiver, which is connected to an automatic regulator, and a measuring rotor with rotational speed from 0 rpm to 2100 rpm proportional to the volume flow of air flow, mounted on a shaft using ball bearings, equipped with blades symmetrical to the plane perpendicular to the direction of air flow, which are inclined at an angle of 25-75 degrees, in quantities from 2 to 8 pieces.
The advantage of the solution according to the invention is better equalization of supply and exhaust air streams than in the previously used device, which increases the degree of heat recovery. Additionally, it reduces the impact of the external climate on the operation of the ventilation system, causing the instantaneous ventilation air flow to be closer to the designed value. It also improves the comfort of using the device by preventing the blowing of large amounts of cold air when there is negative pressure in the room. The use of the measurement method using a measuring rotor has advantages in this device compared to solutions commonly used to measure the air volume flow in ventilation. The use of a throttling element in the form of an orifice or choke would introduce an additional, very significant pressure loss in the scale of the device, and could also generate noise. Since flow velocities in the device are often lower than 1 m/s, measurement using a dynamic pressure method (e.g. with an stilling tube) would be impossible or very inaccurate. In both of these solutions, it would also be necessary to use a precise electronic pressure sensor, which would significantly increase the price of the device. Also, due to cost, the use of a thermoanemometer would be unjustified.
The subject of the invention is presented in an embodiment in the attached drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a cross-section through the device, and Fig. 2 shows a view of the measuring rotor.
The device according to the invention is composed of a ventilation duct (1) with a diameter of 120 mm, placed in the building wall and terminated on the internal side with a supply and exhaust element (2), and on the external side with an air intake/exhaust (3). The ventilation duct (1) contains, from the room side: a reversible fan (4), a storage heat exchanger (5) equipped with channels allowing air to flow through it, and a measuring rotor (6). Elements (4, 5, 6) are arranged so that the distances between them are equal. The measuring rotor (6) is made of plastic and is mounted on the shaft (7) using ball bearings (8). On both sides of the measuring rotor (6) there are elements of the optical rotational speed measurement system - a transmitter (9) and a receiver (10) of radiation. The elements: radiation transmitter (9) and receiver (10) are placed so that the blades of the measuring rotor (6) rotate and intersect the beam between the radiation transmitter (9) and the radiation receiver (10). The rotational speed measurement system, the transmitter (9) and receiver (10) of the radiation from the measuring rotor (6), is connected to an automatic regulator (11), which can adjust the rotational speed and direction of rotation of the reversible fan (4).
The device operates by alternately pumping air through the reversible fan (4) in an amount ranging from 15 m 3 /h to 60 m 3 /h through the ventilation duct (1) in both directions. The direction of rotation of the reversible fan (4) changes every 90 seconds. Air is pumped through the supply and exhaust element (2), the storage heat exchanger (5), the measuring rotor (6) and the air intake/exhaust vent (3). Moving from the room to the outside, the air releases heat in the storage heat exchanger (5), heating it, while when moving from the outside to the inside, the air takes the stored energy from the storage heat exchanger (5), heating itself. When flowing in any direction, the air sets in motion the measuring rotor (6), whose rotational speed, in the range from 0 rpm to 2100 rpm, depends on the volume flow of air flowing through the ventilation duct (1). This relationship in the scope of flows occurring in the device is linear and takes the form V = 21.23*n - 352, where V is the volumetric air flow expressed in m 3 /h, and the rotational speed of the measuring rotor (6) expressed in revolutions per minute. Every two seconds, the automatic regulator (11) converts the instantaneous rotational speed of the measuring rotor (6) into air volume flow according to the above formula, and then compares it with the value of air volume flow set by the user, which is within the given range. If the current flow value is different from the set value, the automatic regulator (11) makes a correction by reducing or increasing the rotational speed of the reversible fan (4) by 1%, in the range from 0 rpm to 2400 rpm.
Ventilation of rooms using a device for pulsed room ventilation with continuous regulation of the air volume flow consists in pumping air in an amount of 15 using a reversible fan (4), the direction of rotation of which changes in time from 20 seconds to 2 minutes. m 3 /h to 60 m 3 /h, which sets in motion the measuring rotor (6) with a rotational speed from 0 rpm to 2100 rpm proportional to the volume flow of the flowing air, the speed of which is measured using an optical sensor, and then the data is sent to the automatic regulator (11), and if the measured instantaneous flow rate is lower than the set value in the range from 15 m 3 /h to 60 m 3 /h, the automatic regulator (11) increases the fan speed by value from 1 to 500 rpm, in the range from 0 rpm to 2400 rpm, and if the instantaneous flow rate is higher than the set value in the range from 15 m 3 /h to 60 m 3 /h, the controller automatic (11) reduces the fan speed by a value from 1 rpm to 500 rpm, in the range from 0 rpm to 2400 rpm in a time interval from 0.2 seconds to 10 seconds.
