Description

Opis wynalazkuDescription of the invention

The subject of the invention is a knitted recuperator for heat exchange between air streams.

A heat exchanger is a device designed to exchange heat energy between two (or more) media in a liquid or gaseous state of matter, which differ in temperature. Heat exchangers are a very broad group of devices, which, depending on their purpose, may differ in size and type of construction. Due to the way heat flows, exchangers are divided into contact exchangers (in which fluids come into contact) and non-contact exchangers (in which fluids do not come into contact with each other). Among non-contact exchangers, recuperators are distinguished - diaphragm exchangers. In recuperators, fluids are separated by a wall (diaphragm), across which heat exchange takes place.

The aim of the invention is to develop a knitted recuperator structure for heat exchange between air streams.

Dzianiny przestrzenne z oddzielającą je warstwą przędzy metalowej, dolna warstwa dziana dolnej dzianiny przestrzenne z warstwą przędzy metalowej i górna warstwa dziana górnej dzianiny przestrzennej z warstwą izolatora tekstylnego, są połączone techniką klejenia. Warstwę izolatora tekstylnego, pokrywającą górną warstwę dzianą górnej dzianiny przestrzennej, stanowi korzystnie dzianinowy panel termoizolacyjny. Górną warstwę dzianą górnej dzianiny przestrzennej i dolną warstwę dzianą dolnej dzianiny przestrzennej stanowią dzianiny wieloigielnicowe gładkie, wątkowe, platerowane, dwuigłowe, żakardowe i strukturalne, zaś pozostałe warstwy dziane obu dzianin przestrzennych stanowią dzianiny wieloigielnicowe ażurowe. The knitted recuperator for heat exchange between air streams, according to the invention, consists of two horizontally positioned, one on top of the other, spatial knitted fabrics, separated from each other by a layer of metal yarn, each knitted fabric consisting of two knitted layers, connected by metal yarn connectors. Each of the connectors consists of a band of parallel metal yarn threads, bent in the middle of their length in accordance with the direction of fluid flow in the fabric, with their ends woven into the meshes of the layers of knitted spatial knitted fabrics. The connectors are positioned at distances from each other equal to 5-35 mm, constituting flow channels for the heating medium in the lower spatial knitted fabric and the heated medium in the upper spatial knitted fabric, wherein the distances between the connectors are not greater than the maximum height of the connectors. The knitted layers of both three-dimensional knitted fabrics are left-and-right warp knitted fabrics with a warp density of not less than 5 columns/10 mm and a row density of not less than 3 rows/10 mm. In addition, a layer of metal yarn is attached to the lower knitted layer of the lower three-dimensional knitted fabric, and the upper knitted layer of the upper three-dimensional knitted fabric is covered with a layer of textile insulator. The three-dimensional knitted fabrics with a layer of metal yarn separating them, the lower knitted layer of the lower three-dimensional knitted fabric with a layer of metal yarn and the upper knitted layer of the upper three-dimensional knitted fabric with a layer of textile insulator are connected by gluing. The layer of textile insulator covering the upper knitted layer of the upper three-dimensional knitted fabric is preferably a knitted thermal insulation panel. The upper knitted layer of the upper three-dimensional knitted fabric and the lower knitted layer of the lower three-dimensional knitted fabric are smooth, weft, plated, two-needle, jacquard and structural multi-needle knitted fabrics, while the remaining knitted layers of both three-dimensional knitted fabrics are openwork multi-needle knitted fabrics. The knitted layers of the knitted fabrics are preferably made of aramid yarn. A stainless steel multifilament is preferably used as the metal yarn.

The recuperator according to the invention enables heat exchange between air streams with the possibility of reheating. Instead of tubes, which are found in typical air heat exchangers, the recuperator according to the invention contains internal channels formed between textile connectors in the structure of a 3D spacer knit fabric. Due to the way the channels are arranged in the knit fabric, the recuperator according to the invention can be classified as a parallel system, applicable in a wide range of (low) air flow speeds. The recuperator according to the invention can be expanded with the functionality of reheating exhaust air (out). The role of the heater is then played by the connectors of the spacer knit fabric of the inlet system made of electroconductive yarn, which at the same time constitute a textile heater. The exchanger according to the invention can be used in industry for the recovery of residual heat of machines, devices and in passive building structures as a supplement to the cladding of light protective walls in frame construction, enabling the saving of energy intended for reheating.

The subject of the invention is shown in an example embodiment in the drawing showing a rectangular projection of the recuperator plane in longitudinal cross-section.

Warstwy dziane 2, 3 dzianin przestrzennych stanowią dzianiny lewoprawe kolumienkowe, o ścisłości kolumienkowej nie mniejszej niż 5 kolumienek/10 mm i ścisłości rząd kowej nie mniejszej niż 3 rządki/10 mm, przy czym górną warstwę dzianą 2 górnej dzianiny przestrzennej i dolną warstwę dzianą 2 dolnej dzianiny przestrzennej stanowią dzianiny wieloigielnicowe gładkie, wątkowe, platerowane, dwuigłowe, żakardowe i strukturalne, zaś dolną warstwę dzianą 3 górnej dzianiny przestrzennej i górną warstwę dzianą 3 dolnej dzianiny przestrzennej stanowią dzianiny wieloigielnicowe ażurowe. Łączniki 4 górnej dzianiny przestrzennej odbierającej ciepło ewentualnie są podłączone do źródła prądu stałego DC o napięciu 5-24 V. Dzianiny przestrzenne z oddzielającą je warstwą 1 z multifilamentu, dolna warstwa dziana 2 dolnej dzianiny przestrzennej z warstwą 6 z multifilamentu i górna warstwa dziana 2 górnej dzianiny przestrzennej z warstwą 5 dzianinowego panelu termoizolacyjnego, są połączone techniką klejenia. The knitted recuperator consists of two spatial knitted fabrics placed horizontally one on top of the other, separated by a layer 1 of stainless steel multifilament. Each of the spatial knitted fabrics consists of two knitted layers 2, 3 of aramid yarn, connected by connectors 4 of stainless steel multifilament. Knitted layers 2, 3 of the three-dimensional knitted fabrics are plain warp knitted fabrics with a warp tightness of not less than 5 columns/10 mm and a row tightness of not less than 3 rows/10 mm, wherein the upper knitted layer 2 of the upper three-dimensional knitted fabric and the lower knitted layer 2 of the lower three-dimensional knitted fabric are smooth, weft, plated, two-needle, jacquard and structural multi-needle knitted fabrics, while the lower knitted layer 3 of the upper three-dimensional knitted fabric and the upper knitted layer 3 of the lower three-dimensional knitted fabric are openwork multi-needle knitted fabrics. Each of the connectors 4 constitutes a strand of parallel stainless steel multifilament threads, bent halfway along in accordance with the direction of fluid flow in the knitted fabric, with their ends woven into the meshes of the knitted layers 2, 3. The connectors 4 are located at distances from each other of 5-35 mm, constituting in-flow channels for the heating medium in the lower spatial knitted fabric and out-flow channels for the heated medium in the upper spatial knitted fabric, wherein the distances between the connectors 4 are not greater than the maximum height of the connectors 4. A layer 6 of stainless steel multifilament is attached to the lower knitted layer 2 of the lower spatial knitted fabric, while the upper knitted layer 2 of the upper spatial knitted fabric is covered with a layer 5 of a knitted thermal insulation panel. The connectors 4 of the upper spatial knit fabric receiving heat are optionally connected to a DC source with a voltage of 5-24 V. The spatial knit fabrics with the multifilament layer 1 separating them, the lower knit layer 2 of the lower spatial knit fabric with the multifilament layer 6 and the upper knit layer 2 of the upper spatial knit fabric with the layer 5 of the knitted thermal insulation panel are connected by gluing.

Rolę grzejnika pełnią łączniki 4 górnej dzianiny dystansowej, podłączone do źródła prądu stałego o napięciu 5-24 V za pomocą tekstylnych linii i złącz napowych. Taka wartość napięcia pozwala dogrzać wypływające powietrze w kanale out o 10°C.Layer 1 is also a drainage for moisture vapor condensation, removing it from the system. Connectors 4 between knitted layers 2, 3 create flow channels for the stream of heated air in and heated air out. The flow in the channels can be forced using additional fans. Layer 5 of the knitted thermal insulation panel is a hydrophobic barrier; it is a protection against moisture penetration into the channel system. The recuperator can be expanded with the functionality of reheating exhaust air. The role of the heater is played by connectors 4 of the upper spacer knit, connected to a DC source with a voltage of 5-24 V using textile lines and snap connectors. This voltage value allows reheating the air flowing out in the channel out by 10°C.
