The decorative element is a new form of a product, having an individual character and new features given to the product by a special method of shaping the ribbon, wherein the new shape and functional and decorative values favorably influence the aesthetics of the product itself and of the gift packaging or items equipped with the decorative element, made according to the industrial design. A decorative element, particularly for gifts, with the characteristic features that a ribbon of a certain length, as a result of subsequent phases of change in its form, has a new shape of the product as a regular, symmetrical bow, which is tied with a ribbon on the axis of symmetry and has the form of a durable product as a decorative element, particularly intended to be tied to a gift. A decorative element, particularly for gifts, with the characteristic features described in point 1, characterised in that a note, preferably a two-page note, is attached to the ribbon tying the decorative element. 3.
