Abstract

A tilt adjustment device for seats, in particular office swivel- chairs (1), consisting of a U-shaped support part (2) which has at its rear end a retainer for the standing tube (4) of a crossed foot structure (5) and at its front end an articulated connection (6) to a front end of a seat surface support (7) extending at least partially over the support part towards the rear, wherein the support part and the seat surface support can be pivoted about the articulated connection counter to the force of a blocking device (8), and wherein actuators (9) are provided for adjusting the support part and the seat surface support, the blocking device being connected at its front end to the front end of the support part and at its rear end to the actuator, and wherein, furthermore, the blocking device is variable in length and the actuator is arranged between the limbs of the support part, moreover an articulated transmission which engages through a cutout in the transverse part of the support part being arranged between the actuator and the seat surface support, and, finally, the pivoting range between the support part and the seat surface support being controllable by means of the actuator. <IMAGE>
