Abstract

A building-wall cladding is formed by cladding elements (2) which butt against one another along their longitudinal edges (3, 4). Serving to fasten the cladding elements (2) are retaining rails (5), which are to be fastened on the building wall (1) and run, in the use position, between the building wall (1) and the cladding elements (2), transversely to the longitudinal edges (3, 4) thereof, and retaining clamps (6) which can be fixed on the retaining rails (5) such that they can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the rails and which thus rest on the facing longitudinal edge (3) of the respective cladding element (2), with the result that the cladding element (2) is held on the respective retaining rail (5). <IMAGE>
