Abstract

The shaped-section rail disclosed is intended for use as a connection and construction element in furniture, in particular cupboards, assembled from panel elements. It has a rectangular basic section (11) and a longitudinal flange on one of the four longitudinal sides of the bar for attaching the bar to a panel element (15). To ensure that the flange holds the bar (7) securely to the panel element (15), it is designed as a double flange (16).
