Abstract

The pivot provides an attachment point for a shower spray jet which can be pivoted about a point (Y). The attachment point (16) is mounted on the end of an arm (2) which can be moved up or down along a vertical rod (1). The spray jet can pivot to any angular position in which it is retained by a brake pad (18), which is spring loaded against a disc on the jet pivot point. The pad has serrations (18b) which engage with serrations on the disc. The brake pad can be released from the disc with a finger operated lever (16).
