Description

Oprócz wymienionych przykladów mo¬ ze wchodzic jeszcze w gre caly szereg in¬ nych azotków tetrazylu. Azotki tetrazylu, wymienione w przykladach, sa oprócz azot¬ ku etylenodwutetrazylowego cialami staly¬ mi, podczas gdy ostatnio podany azotek jest olejem. Zwiazki metylowe, etylowe i acetonowe azotku tetrazylowego sa bar- rzo silnymi materialami zapalowymi i wy¬ buchowymi i w postaci ladunku dopelnia¬ jacego w splonkach, umieszczonego na ta-kich wtórnych materialach wybuchowych, jak nitropentaerytryt, cyklotrójmetyleno- trójnitroamina, czteironitrometyloanilina, trójnitrotoluen, doprowadzaja z lawoscia te materialy do detonacji. Posiadaja one bar¬ dzo wysoka wrazliwosc na uderzenie i mo^ ga byc wskutek tego takze uzywane w kap¬ slach zaplonowych (splonkach) do recznej broni palnej itd. Azotki pikrylo-tetrazylo- wy i trójnitrofenyloaminotetrazylowy maja nieco slabsza zdolnosc zapalowa niz mate¬ rialy poprzednio wymienione. PL PLHeavy metal salts of tetrazyl nitride as a primer have not yet found application in explosives engineering due to their properties that hinder their practical application. However, it has been found that organic tetrazyl nitrides, which are obtained, for example, from potassium salts of tetrazyl nitride and organic chlorides or sulfates, are explosives that are extremely stable and high in energy. The sensitivity of these explosives varies widely, which means that their potential for use in explosives engineering is very diverse. Examples include methyltetrazyl nitrides, ethyltetrazyl nitride, ethylenetetrazyl nitride, acetone tetrazyl mono- or dinitride, picryltetrazyl nitride, and trinitrophenylaminotetrazyl nitride, obtained by reacting tetranitroaniline with potassium tetrazyl nitride. In addition to the examples mentioned, a whole range of other tetrazyl nitrides could also be considered. The tetrazyl nitrides mentioned in the examples, except for ethylenetetrazyl nitride, are solids, while the last-mentioned nitride is an oil. Methyl, ethyl, and acetone compounds of tetrazyl nitride are very powerful igniters and explosives, and when used as a countercharge in primers placed on secondary explosives such as nitropentaerythritol, cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine, tetranitromethylaniline, and trinitrotoluene, they readily cause these materials to detonate. They are very sensitive to impact and can therefore also be used in primers for handguns, etc. Picryltetrazyl and trinitrophenylaminotetrazyl nitrides have a somewhat weaker igniting capacity than the previously mentioned materials. However, they are still suitable ignition and explosive materials for the production of primers. They can also be used as a filler for detonating fuses. Oily ethylene ditetrazyl nitride has an unusually explosive nature and ignites easily from sparks and flames. Even in porous materials such as cellulose, paper, or silica impregnated with this compound, it still possesses a very significant ignition potential. It gelatinizes nitrocellulose and forms a highly explosive, easily ignited gelatin. The above-mentioned materials can be used alone or in mixtures with each other or with other explosive or inert materials, and can also be used with conventional components of igniting masses as primers and explosives for primers, igniting caps, electric primers, detonating fuses, and all types of igniting agents.
