Najdluzszy czas trwania patentu do 22 stycznia 1958 W patencie nr 31 404 opisano forme do wytwarzania obuwia z wytlaczanym spo^ dem z materialu gumowego, nadajaca sie zwlaszcza do obuwia o wierzchu z materia¬ lu wlókienniczego. Rysunek przedstawia tytulem przykla¬ du widok z boku samego kopyta z pomi¬ nieciem formy, opisanej w patencie glównym.Kopyto jest odlewem i posiada podsta¬ we 5, przenoszaca wywierany nan nacisk, Obie boczne plaszczyzny podstawy sa obrobione dokladnie, celem ustalenia po¬ lozenia kopyta poi umiesizczeniu go w for¬ mie w kierunku poprzecznym. PL PLThe longest patent period until January 22, 1958 Patent No. 31,404 describes a mold for manufacturing shoes with an extruded sole made of rubber material, particularly suitable for shoes with uppers made of textile material. The mold is foldable and includes a metal last on which the upper of the footwear being produced is placed. Both side parts of the mold have replaceable parts, the inner pressure surfaces of which are profiled for the purpose of pressing the circumference of the sole and heel and the raised edge of the so-called hem, and between which a piston for pressing the bottom is inserted. These parts have sealing strips which, when closing the mold, tightly adhere to the upper of the footwear placed on the last and thus prevent the softened rubber mass from flowing out of the pressing space and undesirable flooding of the upper. In order to precisely position the last in relation to the side parts of the mold, both side parts have fitting planes 5 which, when closing the mold, position the last in the direction lateral, and for longitudinal and vertical adjustment, holes 7 are drilled in the last's base plate, into which the pins protruding from both lateral parts of the mold fit. Accordingly, the sealing devices of the strips are always at an equal distance from the upper circumference of the last, determined by the thickness or elasticity of the upper material of the shoe being produced. It is apparent that a mold constructed in this way can be used advantageously only for shoe upper material that is sufficiently elastic to allow the upper to be stretched over the undivided last without exposing it to the danger of tearing or permanent stretching of the material. Using the described mold with a non-split last for footwear whose upper is made of a more rigid, inflexible material, such as leather, is problematic. The present invention concerns a further improvement of the mold, protected by the main patent. This improvement eliminates the aforementioned difficulties by providing the last with a movable heel, which, when raised, shortens its longitudinal dimension. By lowering the heel, the last returns to its original size, which simultaneously tensions the upper of the shoe. The drawing shows, by way of example, a side view of the last itself, without the mold described in the main patent. The last is a cast and has a base 5, which transfers the pressure exerted on it. Both lateral surfaces of the base are precisely machined to determine the position of the last after it has been placed in the mold in the transverse direction. The base has two drilled holes 7, which serve to fix the position of the last in the longitudinal direction, and a riser 9, which also has machined surfaces 10, by means of which the last is secured against lateral displacement in relation to the remaining parts of the form. Unlike the undivided last used for the production of footwear with uppers made of textile material, e.g. sports and home footwear, the last according to the invention for the production of footwear with uppers made of leather and similar inelastic materials has a movable heel 16, rotatable on hinges 17 around a pivot 18. This device is necessary to facilitate the stretching of the "stiff" leather upper onto the last. By lifting it upwards By moving the heel 16 to the position indicated by dashes in the drawing, the last length / is shortened to length h, the upper is then stretched freely, and by pressing the heel down, the last with the stretched upper returns to its previous position, thereby tightening the upper of the shoe. The heel is fixed in its normal position by means of the latch pin 19, which is pushed into the heel opening by means of the spring 20. The heel is released by pressing the knob 21 and moving the latch pin 19 in the direction opposite to the spring pressure. The mold surrounding the described last and the piston are made in the same manner as described in the main patent.
