Abstract

The frame is esp. for a skylight, having a mounting zone for the pane edge and a further zone at the indoor side. The insert (27) leads from the indoor zone (9) to the mounting one (10), forming a heat-bridge (28) for the room-heat absorbed by the indoor zone to the edge (11) of the pane. The insert can be of metal and profiled. In cross-section, the profiled plastic can contain several chambers (25,26,45,46,48,49) the insert being accommodated in one of them, pref. that (26) on the indoor side. The chamber can be heat-insulated from other parts of the frame.
