Abstract

The invention concerns a skylight frame with a device (12), designed to catch liquid, which is located on the lower cross-bar (22) of the frame and which has a liquid-runoff channel (16) extending across essentially the whole width of the window pane (20) on the inside of the pane plus at least one drain (18) leading the liquid through to the outside. In order to provide a frame of this kind for thermally insulated skylight, the invention proposes that the window pane (20) is mounted on the lower cross-bar (22), that at least the runoff channel (16) is sealed with a liquidtight seal with respect to the window pane (20) and that the drain (18) passes through the lower cross-bar (22) of the frame.
