Abstract

The fitting has plug joints (6,7) provided between pipe elbow (3) and rim nut (2) and between the elbow and the drainage section (4). Each joint is fitted with a double-O-ring (8,9) serving as a seal and as a slip preventer. An adjustable pipe (10) arranged between the elbow and the rim nut, is releasably connected to the drain valve via this nut and is equipped with a flange (11) that receives a flat seal (12). The outside seal rim (13) fits into a recess (14) of the nut thread, and the elbow may be corrugated at its ends receiving the adjustable pipe and the drain pipe, using the corrugation pleats to accommodate the respective O-ring seals. The adjustable pipe, elbow pipe and drainage section may be made of brass sheet.
