Abstract

The press switch has a membrane case (73) with top (23) and bottom (24) sections between which is a separating membrane (85). The top and bottom sections form one piece with the two tightly welded housing parts in the form of shells. A water flow duct is positioned between the two contact surfaces (7,8). The join surface (9) by which the top and bottom case sections are joined extends as far as the inner wall (79) of the membrane case. A collar (81) protrudes into the membrane case from its inner wall.
