Abstract
The bath carrier is of hard foam material, and includes a self-adjusting base, with an opening (3), in the base (1) of the carrier, having tapering edges (3a,3b) with a flat surface. An insert (5) fits into the opening, with a matching cone shape to fit the tapered edges, and with a lateral dimension which can be varied at right angles to the longitudinal base axis. In the upper locked setting of the insert, it floats over the opening and its lateral dimension is brought to its lowest value. The insert is lowered into the opening to be released (9) for the lateral dimension to expand until it lies flush against the walls of the opening (3). The piston release is tensed by a rubber band.
